Steel is CPM 154 stainless, all wearing custom made segmented handles. These 7 builds are going to Wapiti Combat Veterans Foundation in support of their upcoming veteran elk hunt. Every year this nonprofit’s founder, Rich Menhart (combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient), sponsors several veterans on a Wyoming elk hunt. I’m told their tag fill ratio is pretty high. Hopefully these knives get to skin out some monsters. A big thank you to Rich for supporting this knife making endeavor two years in a row. I’m already looking forward to next year’s builds.

This one almost made it to the page as an “up for grabs” post. A client had to back out last minute, no fault on his part. A friend I served with as an instructor at Small Unit Tactics snatched it up before I could post it. Right place, right time.

African Blackwood segmented handle on CPM Magnacut stainless steel. The joint is stabilized maple burl and G10. This knife will be given to a friend of Eric Graves as a retirement gift. Can’t wait to start on your others, Eric. Thanks again.
