We are looking for a refrigerator for the field house. If anyone has one they aren't using or sees one posted somewhere, please let us know.

We could also use a mini fridge if yall happen to see one available.

BIG NEWS PIRATE NATION!!!!

Today, Kaplan High School proudly begins a brand new chapter in Pirate football.

A chapter built on pride.
A chapter built on toughness.
A chapter built on tradition.

A chapter built to become… LEGENDARY.

Kaplan High School is proud to announce Coach Vinnie Bullara as the next Head Football Coach of the Pirates.

Coach Bullara brings nearly three decades of coaching experience to Pirate Nation, including leadership roles at St. Thomas More, Westminster Christian Academy, Catholic High of Pointe Coupee, and Sulphur High School. Throughout his career, he has served as both Head Coach and Athletic Director, building programs centered around discipline, accountability, hard work, and championship culture.

A 1997 graduate of UL-Lafayette, Coach Bullara has dedicated 29 years to developing student-athletes and leading young men both on and off the field. He and his wife, Cammie, have been married for 30 years and are the proud parents of Tucker, Brock, and Presley.

Coach Bullara shared the following message with the Kaplan community:

“I am extremely grateful to the Kaplan High School administration for selecting me to be your next head football coach. Kaplan has a proud football tradition, and I am humbled to be selected to steward this excellent tradition. It is my goal and my intent to build a culture that fosters enthusiasm, positivity, accountability, and elite work ethic from the coaching staff to the players. I look forward to building relationships and locking arms with the Kaplan community, and do my part in building boys into young men. Go Pirates!”

KAPLAN HIGH TRACK & FIELD CONTINUES TO PROVE WHY PIRATES ARE BUILT DIFFERENTLY.

Our Pirate track superstars delivered an unforgettable performance at the State Meet, bringing home medals, breaking records, and making HISTORY for Kaplan High School and Vermilion Parish.

Kodi Clement dominated the track with a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in the 400 Meter Dash and a runner-up finish in the 200 Meter Dash.

Kevin Small captured a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in the discus with an incredible performance in the field events.

Ajia Comeaux earned a 2nd-place finish in the discus, continuing the proud throwing tradition of Pirate athletics.

Reace Richard placed 5th in the High Jump against the best competition in Louisiana.

Our girls 4x800 relay team of Isabel Mendez, Izzy Hargrave, Lexi Greene, and Liberty Greene brought home 2nd place while setting a NEW SCHOOL RECORD and the FASTEST TIME IN VERMILION PARISH HISTORY with a blazing time of 9:41.44.

The girls' 4x400 relay team of Izzy Hargrave, Emily Roy, Liberty Greene, and Lexi Greene also earned 2nd place while breaking the SCHOOL RECORD and setting the BEST TIME IN PARISH HISTORY with an outstanding 4:05.18.

This team represented Kaplan High School with heart, toughness, grit, and relentless determination. Records were shattered. History was made. Memories were created that will live forever in Pirate tradition.

We are beyond proud of every athlete and coach who poured their time, sacrifice, and passion into this remarkable season.

KAPLAN IS UNSTOPPABLE. ☠️

Who’s ready for Friday Night Lights? Our Mighty Pirates had their first Spring Practice yesterday and were looking good out there 🏈

We also had a hydration drive yesterday to get these boys started for spring training. We’d like to thank everyone who donated. It was a great start, but the boys will need more. We will hold another drive when summer workouts begin, so be on the lookout for that 🏴‍☠️
