Lake Arthur High School Shooting Team Competes in 2nd Annual S***t-Orama

The Lake Arthur High School Shooting Team proudly participated in the Second Annual S***t-Orama, held today at the Lafayette S***t Academy in Kaplan, Louisiana. This exciting event brought together youth shooting teams from across the region for a full day of competition, camaraderie, and skill-building.

Representing Lake Arthur with pride and precision were team members Khye Hornsby, Austin Abshire, Alister Guidry, Slade Feverjean, and C**t Weekley. These young athletes demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and dedication to the sport of s***t shooting.

Congratulations to all participants, and thank you to the Lafayette S***t Academy for hosting an outstanding event!

At Wilderness Gun Club, team members Noah Fontenot, Austin Abshire, Alivia Hornsby, Khye Hornsby, and C**t Weekley took part in the Mardi Gras Open today. Some team members also made their debut in the 5-stand event, with C**t Weekley earning 2nd place in his class. The day's shooting activities served as valuable preparation for the forthcoming 4H Regionals, scheduled to take place later this month. Unfortunately, Noah was not available for a photograph as he had competed earlier in the day.

Had a great day out at Wilderness Gun Club for the Broussard Knights of Columbus Council 7557 Clay Shoot. LAHS Shooting Sports team consisting of Khye Hornsby, Alister Guidry, Austin Abshire and C**t Weekley, took 1st place in Lewis Class B. C**t Weekley took HOA (High Overall) in Youth division. Slade Feverjean also shot as an individual shooter and recorded his personal best posting a 69 out of 100. Congratulation to all these shooters!!
