Meet our new Assistant Golf Professional, Cassie Lambert!
Where are you from? Independence
Where do you live now? Excelsior Springs
School background: Played volleyball at Graceland University and soccer at MCC. My schooling focused on sports medicine.
Career background: Spent the majority of my working life at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which led to a great understanding of the importance of sports and the sense of community and camaraderie it can bring.
What do you love most about golf? The range of players it involves. From the youngsters to our senior leagues. The opportunities it brings to each individual, whether it's making a career out of it or simply being a fun thing to do outside of everyday life and work.
What do you love about Hodge Park? The people! From the staff to the customers, everyone is unique in their own way, and it’s always a joy to be here. The people make it feel less like work and more like spending each day at the course
How long have you been playing golf? About 2 years now.
Favorite Pro Golfer? Nelly and Scottie.
Most memorable round? First round playing with Brandon and Dylan. The amount of information I gathered while watching them play.
Favorite sports team? Missouri Tigers, K-State, or Carolina Tar Heels.
Favorite food? Mexican or Italian.
Favorite drink? Sweet tea.
Hobbies outside of golf? Dogs, chickens, gardening, fishing, spending time with family.
