Remembering a special member of our skating community. 💙

For many years, Tom Holmes was a familiar face at Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena. Whether he was between the pipes playing goalie in our adult hockey leagues and drop-in hockey sessions or behind the camera photographing hockey games, figure skating competitions, and ice shows, Tom was a dedicated supporter of our local skating community.

Through his photography, Tom captured countless memories for generations of skaters and their families. From competitions, games and ice shows to moments both big and small, his photographs will be treasured for years to come.

We are deeply saddened by his passing and grateful for the many years he spent supporting skating in our community. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Tom’s family and friends.

We know Tom touched the lives of so many in our skating community, and we’d love for you to share your favorite memories of him in the comments below. You will be missed, Tom!
