She shot a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge back to back. She had no idea which was which.

When Tracy Kienitz asked this client which one kicked less, she pointed to the heavier gun every time. Then her eyes went wide. Then her husband's did too.

Most women hear that advice before they've ever felt a fitted 12 in their hands. And in a lot of cases, that advice is costing them better scores, softer recoil, and a whole lot more fun on the trap line.

Nobody built a shotgun for women.

Not really. There were shorter stocks. Lighter guns. Pink versions of men's guns with a new name on the box.

But a competition shotgun designed from scratch, for the way women's bodies actually work on the trap line? That did not exist.

So Tracy built it.

Just returned from the most amazing pheasant hunt in Kansas! Weather was awesome, lots of birds and spectacular hunting overall. Watching these amazing dogs was the highlight. I even had a triple! 3 roosters flushed and I got them all with my Syren USA Waterfowler. That shotgun is awesome!! Girls, you need one, message me! Our guide said that was the first time he had ever seen a triple! (Bragging sorry). I am trying blessed to have these opportunities and lots of healthy meat in the freezer. And I almost brought home another puppy!

Yesterday was an exciting day for me! I finally shot 25 straight in Trap. I’ve shot several 24s but couldn’t achieve the 25. The tradition is to shoot your hat so the guys at the club all pulverized my hat. It was so fun! I’ve worked hard for this goal. So don’t give up on your goals! That’s with my beautiful Caesar Guerini Summit Trap shotgun!

Just returned from Montana for the year end celebration for the WSSA Women’s Trap League. Colorado is the 2nd state to join and our Berthoud Club is the first in the state! The event was amazing with over 100 women participating. If you are interested in joining the Colorado league and our club, message me. We also visited Glacier National park and It is beautiful!!
