Kalamazoo Speedway Set for Legendary Night of Destruction on September 12
KALAMAZOO, MI — Kalamazoo Speedway is preparing for one of the biggest and most action-packed nights of the 2026 season as the Legendary Night of Destruction returns on Saturday, September 12, at 7:00 PM.

The ticket office will open at 12:00 PM, giving fans plenty of time to arrive early and get ready for an unforgettable night of motorsports, destruction and entertainment.

General admission tickets are $25 for adults, while students ages 6–12 are $10. Pit passes are available for $35. Free bus rides to the speedway will begin at 5:00 PM.

This year's Legendary Night of Destruction will feature a packed lineup of fan-favorite events, including:

School Bus Trailer Races — returning with an entirely new fleet of buses
50-Lap Enduro
Pac-Man Event
Truck & Car Trailer Race
Send It Competition
Spectator Drags
Kalamazoo Speedway Stunt Team performance
Massive Fireworks Display to cap off the evening
The return of the School Bus Trailer Races is expected to be one of the night's biggest attractions, with a new fleet of buses ready to put on a wild show for the Kalamazoo Speedway crowd.

And when the racing and destruction are finished, the night will go out with a bang as Kalamazoo Speedway presents what promises to be one of the largest fireworks displays fans will ever see at the track.

The Kalamazoo Speedway stunt team will also take center stage with an exciting stunt performance that is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Jeffrey Earnhardt Racing Experience Returns Friday
The action actually begins one night earlier.

On Friday, September 11, the Jeffrey Earnhardt Racing Experience returns to Kalamazoo Speedway, giving fans the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the thrill of driving a race car around the World's Fastest 3/8 Mile Track.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a Super Late Model, Late Model or Modified experience.

Take the classic 80s arcade game, strap it into a fleet of race cars, and unleash it on the asphalt—that’s the Pac-Man Race coming to Kalamazoo Speedway!

Here’s how this real-life video game works:

The Setup: A pack of driver "Ghosts" takes the track first, trying to run their laps and stay alive.

The Chaser: Enter PAC-MAN—two, high-powered enforcement vehicles unleashed onto the oval to hunt down the field.

The Elimination: The Chaser’s goal? Tag, spin out, or hit every single car in sight. Once Pac-Man catches you, you’re OUT!

The Winner: The last surviving driver to evade Pac-Man takes the checkered flag.

It’s high-speed cat-and-mouse, sudden spins, and pure spectator chaos!

Here’s how it works:
Take a fleet of trucks, sedans, and SUVs, hitch up full-sized campers, boat trailers, and pop-ups, and unleash them onto the track ALL AT ONCE.

The goal isn't just speed—it's SURVIVAL & DESTRUCTION. 💥

The Rules: Drivers must complete the laps while trying to smash, rip, and detach everyone else's trailer.

The Victory: To win, you must cross the finish line with your trailer (or whatever splintered piece of wood and steel is still hooked to your hitch) intact!

The Chaos: Campers exploding into kindling, boats flying off hitches, and pure short-track mayhem from start to finish.
