Boring, basic & repetitive works. I lost 60 pounds basically doing the same thing every day for adding something exciting to it to keep it sustainable. You don’t need to eat, boring and be miserable to see results.. but you do have to be OK with repetitive and simple find ways that make boring meals feel exciting. Because simple works! But TOO simple isn’t sustainable because *boringgggg* lol
My favorite way- to take a boring meal and make it not:
- find a good ingredient, low calorie (or no calorie) sauce
- change the base. If it’s a pasta you like, try it with Rice instead. If it’s Rice, try it with sweet potatoes or pasta base
- pico on top always changes things up!
- try it as a bowl. Or if it’s a bowl, try the bowl as a wrap or something!
Just find what works and tweak in a minimal, low calorie way. This helps you stay consistent on the basic foods that work for your body, while still feeling like you’re getting a variety
