Pr¥nce Ace Music Reveals His Full “My Time” Rollout

Prynce Ace ain’t just dropping an album.

He built an entire concept around TIME. ⏰

First: Quick Lick mixtape.

Then: It’s Almost My Time, a prelude EP.

Then the full My Time album:

12 tracks… built around the 12 positions on a clock.

And he revealed another layer during the interview:

After Hours / Hours After, leading into an Overtime edition with 18 tracks.

Why 18?

Because 18 is time and a half. 😮‍💨

THAT is committing to the concept.

Artists: do you like when an album rollout becomes one big connected world like this?

$100K at 17 Sounds Different When Your Family Needs It

Put yourself in the position for a second.

You’re 16 or 17.

Money is tight.
Your family needs help.
You may already feel responsible for people around you.

Then somebody puts $100,000 in front of you.

Are you thinking about equity percentages and long-term ownership?

Or are you thinking:

“Where do I sign?”

That’s the situation Pr¥nce Ace Music and Trea Da Fit Artist says people have to understand when talking about young artists and predatory deals.

The upfront number can feel life-changing.

But his point is to look beyond the check and ask:

How much of the pie is actually mine?

Artists… what needs to change to make sure young creatives understand what they’re signing BEFORE the deal is done?

🎥🥊 From MMA…to fight choreography…to acting…to getting his MUSIC into the deal.

That’s how you turn one opportunity into multiple lanes.

Pr¥nce Ace Music breaks down how a movie role expanded and why he chose to negotiate a music placement into the opportunity instead of only looking at the immediate check.

Your Fitness Journey Gets Easier When the Right People Are in Your Corner

Your fitness journey doesn’t happen in isolation.

Sometimes the people around you make staying consistent easier.

Sometimes they make it MUCH harder.

Pr¥nce Ace Music talked about having people who know him well enough to say:

“Come on, let’s work out.”

“Let’s go play basketball.”

“Go hit the gym… you need that today.”

That kind of support ain’t doing the work FOR you.

It’s having people around you who care enough to help pull you back toward the things you said matter.

So who’s that person in YOUR life?

Tag somebody who helps keep you accountable. 💪🏾

When Music Stopped Being Just a Hobby for Pr¥nce Ace Music

At some point, the thing you enjoy doing starts feeling like something you might actually want to BUILD a life around.

For Prynce Ace, that shift started happening around 19.

Before that, it was writing, freestyling with the bros, riding around with beats playing, and making music because it was something they loved doing together.

But the more he recorded and the more the people around him pushed him to keep getting in the studio, the more he started looking at music differently.

It became more than:

“Yeah, I rap.”

It became:

“I actually want to do this.”

Not just as a hobby.
Not just when the mood hits.
Something he wanted to see how far he could take.

For the artists and creatives:

When did your craft stop feeling like “something you do” and start feeling like something you wanted to seriously pursue?

The Contract Clause Pr¥nce Ace Music Says Is NON-NEGOTIABLE

Prynce Ace says there’s one thing he wants in ANY label contract:

A buyout clause.

Why?

Because if the partnership stops working, he doesn’t want either side pretending there’s no way out.

The label deserves protection for what it invested.

The artist deserves a path back to freedom.

Agree on the number beforehand.
Honor the agreement.
And if the time comes, everybody knows what the exit costs.

That’s how Prynce looks at it.

Artists: what term would be NON-NEGOTIABLE for you in a deal?

Why Master P Turning Down $1 Million Changed the Way Pr¥nce Ace Music Thinks

A label offers you $1 MILLION.

You signing…or asking why they’re willing to pay that much? 👀

In this clip, Prynce Ace retells the Master P story that stuck with him:

Instead of only seeing the offer as a payday, Master P looked at it as evidence that what he had might be worth considerably more.

That changed the question from:

“How much will they give me?”

to:

“How can I build and market this while keeping ownership?”

That lesson clearly connects to how Prynce approaches his own business today.

So what are YOU doing:

💰 Taking the million?
or
🎯 Betting on ownership?

Get Paid AND Get Promoted? Why Pr¥nce Ace Music Believes in Sync

Imagine somebody paying to use your music…

…and that SAME placement exposes the song to an audience you might never have reached yourself.

That’s why Prynce Ace has put sync placements near the center of his independent music strategy.

Commercials.
TV.
Movies.

There can be money on the front end… but the placement itself can also become marketing on the back end when people hear the song, Shazam it, stream it, or discover the artist.

Prynce described it another way:

Instead of paying to cross the bridge, you’re getting paid while you cross it.

Independent artists: are you actively pursuing sync yet?

The Injury That Made Prynce Ace Realize Music Came First

Sometimes losing access to something teaches you what you really can’t live without.

Pr¥nce Ace Music loves TWO things:

🥊 Martial arts
🎵 Music

But after an injury forced him away from training and competition, he started writing again.

And something became clear.

When he had fighting without music, something felt off.

When fighting was temporarily taken away… but he had music again, he felt more like himself.

That setback helped him recognize which passion was actually helping hold everything else together.

Have you ever had life force you to realize what you REALLY wanted?
