🏀 Basketball Camp at The Ark did not disappoint.

Recently, our home gym had many kids working on their game — dribbling, shooting, playing defense, and strengthening their skills. Watching them get better (and more confident) each day was encouraging. Here are some of our shots from camp!

Here's the thing though — camp was just the start.

Sign-ups for our Elementary and Middle School basketball teams are opening soon. If your kid wants to play basketball, whether they are new to the game or experienced, Indy Genesis basketball will provide the same opportunities as other Genesis sports focused on our mission, vision, and core values.

🗓️ Basketball Season runs October through the end of the year.

We loved seeing these kids grow at The Ark at camp, and we can't wait to see them keep growing on a Genesis team this season.

🏐✨ WHAT. A. WEEKEND AT THE INDIANAPOLIS INVITATIONAL! ✨🏐

What an incredible weekend of volleyball for Indy Genesis! From our youngest players to our Varsity girls, every level of Genesis showed up, competed hard, and walked away better than they came. ❤️🏐

There was some INCREDIBLE volleyball played all weekend long big serves, huge kills, blocks, incredible saves, long rallies, and so many moments that made you stop and say, WOW!

🥇 VARSITY — GOLD! 🏆
Our Varsity girls battled their way to the top and brought home the GOLD! What an incredible tournament and an incredible finish!

🥈 JV — SILVER! 🥈
Our JV girls had an amazing weekend and earned the SILVER! They showed so much growth, confidence, and fight throughout the tournament.

But the medals are only part of the story. Every Genesis team played hard, learned a LOT, faced challenges, made adjustments, and grew this weekend. That’s what tournaments like this are all about. Every match gives these girls another opportunity to learn, compete, encourage one another, and become better volleyball players and better teammates. Watching the different levels of our program compete and seeing that growth from team to team is something really special.

We are so proud of EVERY Genesis athlete who stepped on the court this weekend. The effort, the heart, the growth, and the way these girls continue to cheer each other on is what makes this program so much fun to be a part of.

Gold. Silver. Lots of lessons. SO much growth. And one incredible Genesis weekend! 🏆🥈❤️🏐

The Indianapolis Invitational is here, and we are SO excited to see our Indy Genesis families, friends, and fans at The Ark!

Games start at 9 AM, and there is nothing like a packed gym cheering on our teams! 🙌🏼📣

Come spend the day with us, cheer loud, bring the energy, and support your Indy Genesis teams as they battle it out on the court! Every serve, every block, every kill, every point our athletes can feel you in the stands!

Congratulations to our Indy Genesis XC teams at the Jeremy Wright CC Invitational in Shelbyville this past Saturday.

Our MS boys took home 1st place with 4 boys finishing in the top 20 (Isaiah Allen-5th, Elijah Cook-9th, Canaan Allen-10th & Tyler Hasenwinkle 20th).

Our MS girls finished 2nd place with Alivia Archer placing 1st overall in the MS girls race and 2 others placing in top 20 (Lelia Finch-8th & Eliana Cook-15th).

Our HS girls had a solid showing taking 4th place with Rebecca Chamblee finishing top of Indy Genesis runners in 17th place overall.

And finally, our HS boys brought home a solid 3rd place finish with Abe Archer finishing 7th overall!

What isn’t completely captured in these pics is the heart and compassion these runners have for Jesus, each other, and their competitors. They ran with excellence and persevered through a tough course. Way to go Indy Genesis XC!!!!

Congratulations to Genesis alum Lucas Ackermann on his athletic scholarship with Texas A&M to continue his athletic career.

Lucas played for many years on the Indy Genesis soccer team in addition to participating in the Homeschool P.E. Class.

He was the Indiana State Champion in swimming in the 100 breaststroke, earning him a scholarship to swim at Texas A&M.

We wish Lucas the best at Texas A&M as he competes at the next level.
