We are back from a nonstop weekend at the 2026 IBJJF World Championships.
We only had one athlete in the competition - but we are honored to have that athlete wearing the 🦊 at the true highest level of the sport, Adult Black Belt 🥋
Connor earned his qualifying points over the last year and a half, regularly competing in both his weight class and the Open Class against some of the best in the world, showing 0 fear through all of it.
His pursuit of this has made ALL of us at the academy better, and it’s been so much fun being on this grind with him.
The 4 of us had such a great time this weekend enjoying the insanity of Saturdays matches (you really have to see it to appreciate the nonstop barrage of elite matches going on 6 mats for like 8 straight hours), to the energy and the spectacle of the semis and finals matches on Sunday.
