From our out of ANGOLA
"ANGOLA HUNT - A huge thank you to Rick Warren and JD Yates for an unforgettable few days of hunting in Southern Angola, and for having the courage to embrace the unknowns of a new hunting destination like Angola.
Some of the best memories made in the bush happen after the rifles have been put away. Sitting around the fire, sharing stories and listening to tales of hunts from Mongolia to Tanzania and South America, reminded us once again why we love what we do. These are the moments that stay with you long after the camp has been packed up.
As a team at JSB Safaris, we were truly honoured and privileged to guide Rick on what became a very special milestone: A first Livingstone Eland trophy taken in Angola in more than 20 years. It was a privilege to be part of such a memorable hunt.
JD also enjoyed an incredible experience, taking a beautiful Cape Eland as well as an Angolan Bush Duiker. The hunting was challenging, as hunting in Southern Angola can be, but sharing the experience with two hunters of such knowledge and experience made our job an absolute pleasure. Their understanding of the bush, patience and willingness to embrace every challenge made the hunt all the more enjoyable.
We hope this is not the last time our paths cross and that one day we will have the privilege of walking into the Angolan bush together again.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Onyati Game Reserve for their tireless efforts to place wildlife conservation at the forefront of Angola’s future, and for their continued work toward unlocking the country’s incredible potential.
Finally, our thanks go to the Hunters Association of Angola for their ongoing work in developing legislation and engaging with the Angolan Government to promote sustainable hunting, responsible wildlife management and long-term conservation.
Here’s to new friendships, unforgettable hunts and many more adventures in Angola."
