NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — After losing his hunting privileges for a decade following ten game law violations in 2014, Nebraska outfitter Dustin Noble didn't stop operating. Instead, he doubled down, running an illegal outfit that state and federal investigators have now tied to 114 unlawful hunts over six years.
From 2015 to 2021, Noble’s business, Noble Outdoors, facilitated illegal hunts targeting a wide variety of wildlife. According to court records, the operation relied on a battery of severe infractions, including shooting from public roads, night hunting with thermal equipment and suppressors, trespassing, and taking game out of season.
Noble was sentenced to 22 months in federal prison, ordered to pay $179,680 in restitution, and slapped with a 25-year ban on hunting, fishing, trapping, guiding, or outfitting.
