We are having another workday tomorrow at 9 AM at the elementary building. We will meet in front of the bus barn. We just need to get four benches assembled and get them out to the fields. It shouldn’t take no more than two hours. If you are willing and able to volunteer your time, please meet us there!

We have received all missing parts for our baseball and softball benches and our batting cage.

If you are available to help assemble this equipment on Saturday morning around 9 AM please respond to this message and let me know.

At the bare minimum we need to get the benches assembled and put in the dugouts. It should not take very long if we get enough people.

If your child is currently on a sports roster you should have been added to the room. If you are a parent of a current athlete and didn't get added please message me here. If you are a parent of a future athlete and would like to be added you can send me a message also!

The wet globe temperature, which is what IHSA uses to determine whether it is too hot to play outside, will be around 83° at game time for our Baseball and Softball games. This is well within the range of being able to hold outdoor games and activities. Player safety is always the number one priority when it comes to sports in my view.

I just wanted to put any parents minds at ease that were concerned about the heat. Having said that, it still will be pretty warm so make sure and bring enough cold drinks for your child and do continue to check on them during the game as will the coaches.

If you ever have a concern about the heat and playing games or practices, please feel free to contact me.

I have attached the wet globe chart that shows any in all restrictions in each temperature grid.

We had our first cross-country meet of the season today at Field Grade School! We had lots of first time runners and some runners who set some PR‘s today! Great job to all the runners. Thank you to the parents for coming out and cheering and for the pictures. And thank you to Micah Arcuri for the overlays on the PR pictures!

CALLING ALL SPRING GARDEN PARENTS!!!!!

Our booster club and school have recently purchased some equipment for our baseball and softball fields.

We are asking for volunteers to come help us assemble a batting cage, new foul poles and new dugout benches for both of our fields.

If you would like to come out and help, we are going to have a workday this Sunday, August 30th at 2 PM. We will meet at the bus barn. Thank you in advance for any help!
