The Rend Lake College Warriors golf team gives golfers an opportunity to compete and showcase their skills on the collegiate golf stage at the local, regional and national levels. The Warriors finished the season yesterday with a 6th place finish in the 2026 Region 24 Championship at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, IL. Overall, the boys played pretty well in rounds 1 and 3 but struggled mightily in round 2 Tuesday Morning, which was too much to overcome.
Shoutout and special recognition to Sophomore Parker Boehne on his great effort in the tournament finishing in 8th place individually, one single shot out of qualifying for the National Championship as an individual and also one single shot from being named to the All-Region Team.
