Some coaches build teams. Others build opportunities for generations of players to follow. We're proud to introduce Chris Brooks as the Head Coach of our 2026-27 9U Valley Girls team. Chris is the founder of the original Valley Girls team and a driving force behind the vision that has grown into the organization we are developing today.
Coach Goob is excited to spend this season on the field with an amazing group of young athletes.
After serving six years in the United States Navy as a Sonar Technician aboard the USS Minnesota, he and his family chose to come back home to be closer to the people they love most. Family has always been at the center of everything he does, and coaching gives him the chance to invest in the next generation while sharing his love of teamwork, perseverance, and having fun.
He believes some of life's best lessons are learned on the ball field while encouraging your teammates, working hard, bouncing back from mistakes, and celebrating each other's successes. His goal this season is simple: help every player grow in confidence, learn the game, make great memories, and leave each practice and game knowing they are valued. He is honored to be part of their softball journey and can't wait to cheer them on every step of the way.
