Congratulations to all of the wrestlers who came out and gave it their all yesterday for the 2026 Tri State Youth Wrestling League Championship, and congratulations to Gallia Academy Wrestling for winning the team trophy this year (this was their first year in TSYWL and they came to make a statement!)
The Huntington Hammers would like to take a moment to extend our sincerest appreciation to all of those who made it possible to host this tournament:
- The Hammers families who contributed in more ways than could even be mentioned (volunteering time to setup/breakdown everything before and after the tournament, donations for the hospitality room, asking what could be done next to help)
- Davis' Place Neighborhood Bar & Grill for donating breakfast to our hospitality room
- Calamity J Grill & Bar for donating lunch to our hospitality room
- Our vendors, Legacy Athletics and 3 Kidz 3D. Legacy sold everything they brought and stayed to continue taking pre-orders, and 3 Kidz 3D had to pack up early as they ran out of product to sell!!
- Huntington High School for allowing us to host at their facility
- Rob St. Clair for directing the tournament with Sikora Soft Systems and keeping things running smooth
- Battle Tested Defense Solutions for providing security and crowd control
- Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti House 10th St. for being on standby and delivering our concession pizza throughout the day
- Shane’s Hauling & Moving Services for transporting mats from Chesapeake and South Point to HHS and back
- Chesapeake and South Point programs for allowing us to use mats for the tournament
Thanks again to all involved! It was a great day of wrestling and a great ending to the 2025-2026 TSYWL season!!
