We missed a couple updates.

On 5/30, Kyle raced at Flat Run Speedway racing clone 350. He started 5th out of 8 in the heat and finished 5th. Started 10th in the feature out of 16 and finished 14th. Got stuck on the outside and missed tires. It was a good test session. Lincoln also got more time in his juicebox!

On 6/5, Brandon ran Seven Starts Speedway running clone 375 and adult cage owned by states racing. Brandon started 6th out of 6 in clone 375 heat and finished 5th. Started 3rd out of 6 in adult cage heat and finished 2nd. In the feature, Brandon finished 4th in clone 375 flat and ran 3 laps in the adult cage and the motor slid back and had to pull off.

Brandon will be racing Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park tomorrow for their first money race!

Weekend recap from Selinsgrove Speedway:

The team ran the Attack of The Clones, one of the biggest races in PA. Being our second race, we are trying to test the waters and float around to races to see where we stack up and it hasn’t been terrible!

Brandon qualified about 35th out of 50 in the clone 380 which was the biggest class of the day. He went out for the LCQ and qualified 10th and from 2nd place to 10th was only tenths off. Stacked class so he didn’t end up making the show.

Kyle qualified 22nd out of 25. Went out for the LCQ with 9 total taking the top 4 and qualified 2nd putting him in the show for clone 425. Ran half the race running around 15th out of 20 and decided to pull off and save the equipment since the kart didn’t get any better as the race went on.

Lincoln ran his first race ever in juicebox and finished about 5th out of 10 and had a blast! They don’t keep track of finishing positions but he had fun and learned! Overall it was a long day but we will try to find out where we are racing next and let everyone know!

Update: Lincoln ran his first feature race and got around 5th out of 10 (technically they don’t keep track). Brandon had a stacked 50 entries in clone 380 and qualified 35th. They took 20. Last chance showdown they took 4 and he finished 10th but from 2nd to 10th was very close. Kyle qualified 22nd out of 25 taking 16. His last chance showdown he needed to finish in the top 4 out of 9 and got 2nd so he made the big show in clone 425!

Happy Easter everyone!

Yesterday we went to Hunterstown Speedway for the WKA commonwealth clash. Brandon ran clone 390 and 390 pro and Kyle ran clone 425.

Brandon qualified 24th of 26 in both classes and Kyle qualified 11th out of 15.

For the features, Brandon finished 15th in clone 390 and came from 24th to 10th in the pro. Kyle finished 11th. Overall not a bad night after being out of it for 12 years and everything stayed in one piece. We will keep everyone updated on where the next race will be.

Nothing like going back at it full speed. Brandon and Kyle will be racing at Hunterstown Speedway this Saturday for the Commonwealth National series!
