Putting the finishing touches on this hand carved Osage “Strutter in the Forest”. It’s a slate over glass with a matching Osage striker.

I’ve been having a LOT of fun with these “Bronzed Feathers” calls this year, but I think this is the first Purpleheart striker I’ve tried. It’s east bound & down to a longtime friend.

Thanks for following!
Steve

I always try to add a quick video showing the sounds my calls make. Although this one’s pretty short as I’m racing the rain, it still shows up to prove what it’s got! Thanks for following along!

We had something special happen today when a customer from Iowa dropped by to pick up his calls in person and he’s got an armload of “super secret” striker wood!!? We then spent the afternoon playing calls, turning strikers and sharing stories like we’ve been friends for years!

Just wanted to post a quick video before it heads north. Thanks for following along, we appreciate each and every one of you!
