Just a reminder for what Start Swimming offers its Families, our little perks.

For every referral you give and they sign up and pay for classes you get 1 free class, there is no limit on how many free classes you can get.

Enrolled Students get free swimming time before and after their class to have some fun, practice what they learn or simply enjoy the water for a little longer. Enrolled students can come to the pool for free swimming any time during the week, space permitting.

We do have a saltwater pool. Does that eliminate chlorine? No. The saltwater is broken down into Chlorine by a machine that produces less Chlorine and drastically reduces the irritating effects of the chemicle, odor and chemicle spikes. It's safer for the Children.

Come and sign up for your free trial class to where we evaluate your childs swimming abilities to be placed into a proper class by our highly seasoned and trained coaches.

Hello wonderful customers and visitors to our page here. We appreciate your business and the potential for new business from our visitors. One thing we know is that the Tomball area is oversaturated with learn to Swim Schools and everyone tries to stick out to gain customers.

Here is what we try to do to stick out, we apply a means tested common sense approach to Swim Lessons. We are a true Mom and Pop business and are involved with the community Swim scene. We teach all ages how to swim but our main business is children.

We have instructors that are well seasoned, most with over 20 years of experience and the owners, Barb and Jason, are actually teaching and in the water because that is their passion. They have been Swim Coaches, Summer League coaches, stroke and turn coaches and now Learn to Swim Coaches, we are very proud of them.

We have a service provided by Coach Barbara, the owner, that enourages those with new borns to come in and have her teach you how to bath your new child, in our specially made deep well sink, to acclimate the child and teach them at an early age to adjust to the water. This is a free service to everyone because children learning to swim is our passion.

We also proved a much loved service to all families taking lessons and that is the free swim perk. We don't use the assembly line techinque for swim lessons so what we do is we invite the parents to bring their kids in early to have some free swim time and then stay after their lessons for more. We feel 20-30 minutes in the water for a kid is not much time for them to enjoy it so we encourage them to stay, have some fun and practice what they have learned, this is a free perk, children are our main focus and we have found this works well for the kids to retain what they have learned.

We love to teach Children and Adults how to swim and get ready for the Summer water season. If you plan on being in or near a body of water in the summer with your kids now is the time to get them in lessons to learn the basics of swimming that can lead to survival. We are also the home of free swim. We allow you and your kids to swim for free before and after lessons in a designated area to affirm what they learned and learn how to love the water.
