The first and third Sunday Bikes and Brews ride is planned to start up again this Sunday, September 6 from Galveston Bay Brewing! Keep an eye on the weather - if it rains close to ride time, the ride will be cancelled. Otherwise, plan to arrive no later than 5:30 for a 5:45 rollout to be able to catch the sunset as you return to the brewery. Formal ride post will be on the member page on Saturday, September 5. The ride time will change over the coming weeks as daylight starts retreating. The member page is the best place to get updated info.

For those who enjoy our first and third Sunday Bikes and Brews ride, please note it will be on hiatus for the month of August due to the heat. Let’s get through the hottest month and hope for a little relief come September!

Remember our Bikes and Brews ride!

Come join us for a leisurely paced ride around League City/Clear Lake Shores on the first and third Sunday of each month. Then stay after for dinner, snacks, and maybe a b**r or soft drink.

For the summer and fall based on heat and sunset, starts are promptly at 6pm. Be sure to arrive a little early to have time for your last minute preparations.

Where: Parking lot of Galveston Bay Brewing in Clear Lake Shores
Conditions: HOT! Bring your water and electrolytes.
Pace: 14-16 mph

Mileage: about 18 miles

With this crazy back and forth weather, we are giving it a go for the Bikes n Brews ride this Sunday!

We will be riding from GBB at about 14-16 mph, and doing about 18 miles (depending on route).

It should be a SUNNY day, but chilly, at around 53 degrees, with a wind starting from the NW at about 4 to 9 mph, ending from the West. Final route decision by the group at ride start.

Stick around after and join us at GBB for a nice beverage, maybe get some dinner, and enjoy some social time with your cycling friends.

When: Sunday, January 18, 2026

Time: Arrive at 3:45pm for pictures and to make sure you are ready to roll out at 4:00pm SHARP

Where: Galveston Bay Brewing in Clear Lake Shores

This is a great way to get started with group riding and our club! Helmet and road ready bike required.
