Houston Hockey Community is excited to continue our partnership with Ice at the Galleria through our Tim Hortons Timbits Hockey Program.

Timbits is a community-focused program designed to help children learn to skate, play hockey, make new friends, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment. The focus isn't on winning or losing—it's about learning a new sport, developing teamwork skills, and simply being a kid.

📍 Ice at the Galleria
👧🧒 Ages 3–9
⏰ Saturdays, 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM
💲 Single Sessions Available – $35

Each session includes experienced coaching, and participants receive a Timbits Hockey Jersey and Hockey Stick.

Equipment Requirements:
✅ Helmet with full-face protection (available if needed)
✅ Ice Skates (available if needed)
✅ Hockey gloves or ski gloves (provided by parents)

The current session runs through June 27, and we'd love to see more young players join us on the ice!

It's more than just a game—it's about friendships, teamwork, confidence, and community.

Board Chair & Director of Rink Development & Community Growth

Rory M. Tolunay brings a powerful combination of engineering expertise, community leadership, and deep hockey passion to his role as Director of Rink Development & Community Growth for the Houston Hockey Community. As a Vice President of TEG, Tolunay Engineering Group, Inc., Rory has spent more than a decade leading complex geotechnical engineering projects across Texas, helping build safer and stronger infrastructure for the communities he serves.

A dedicated ice and roller hockey goalie, Rory plays six nights a week and is a familiar presence in rinks across Houston. His love for the sport fuels his commitment to expanding access, strengthening youth pathways, and supporting the long‑term growth of hockey in the region.

Rory is also a passionate podcaster, sharing stories and insights on personal development and the world around him. His ability to connect with people—on and off the ice—makes him a powerful ambassador for the sport and for the Houston Hockey Community.
