Going to be a great weekend for Leaf Looking. Want a better view?. Ride to the Top of Mars Hill Mountain and help benefit County Federal Credit Union End of Hunger Campaign. $15 to participate plus allows you to watch the bands play. Will be leaving from Houlton tomorrow morning (Saturday) from Irving Big Stop at 9am. Register when you arrive at Big Rock.

There has been complaints of Atvs etc.... Driving fast and Recklessly behind the Save building in Houlton. This is a trail that we Can Not lose. Please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling that location. It is after all a SCHOOL ZONE regardless of time of day!!

The Bag You Made Fun Of 😂

Ladies, you know the bag.

The one our husbands look at before a ride and ask ....

“Do we really need all that?”

Yes.

Yes, we do. 😂

Because somewhere out on a trail 20 miles from camp or the truck, somebody is going to need something.

Sunscreen.

A Band-Aid.

Ibuprofen.

A snack.

Hand wipes.

Lip balm.

An extra pair of gloves.

A sweatshirt.

Tissues.

Toilet paper.

And somehow, despite all the tools, straps, shackles, spare parts and recovery gear packed into the SxS...

The men won't have any of it.

But guess who does?

The woman with the bag everybody made fun of that morning. 😂

Doug packs for what might happen to the machine.

I tend to pack for what might happen to the people.

And honestly, both matter.

You can have enough recovery gear to pull a RZR off the side of a mountain, but if somebody is cold, hungry, sunburned, bleeding or desperately searching for toilet paper...

Suddenly my bag doesn't seem so ridiculous anymore.

And there's always that moment.

You know the one.

“Cher...you wouldn't happen to have...?”

Yep.

Probably.

Check the bag. 😂

So ladies, keep packing the things nobody thinks they'll need.

Because eventually they will.

And gentlemen...

You don't have to understand what's in the bag. Just don't complain about how much room it takes up.

You'll need something out of it eventually.
