Cain Guide Service Guiding you in the woods and on the lakes in the Great state of Maine. Cain Guide Service is a father and son operation.

We guide Bass, Landlocked Salmon, Lake Trout and Brook Trout fishermen at many locations across the state of Maine. We also provide guided hunts for Moose and waterfowl. We operate primarily in the Machias area of Downeast Maine, the Bangor, ME area and in the the areas north of Houlton, ME. Brian Cain is a retired game warden, with 30 years of outdoor experience, who guided before starting his ca

reer as a game warden and is now continuing this activity through his retirement. Brian specializes in guiding for: moose, lake trout, brook trout and landlocked salmon. Paul Cain has a degree in recreation management and specializes in guiding Bass fishermen and bird hunters. He builds all the spinner baits and jigs that Cain Guide Service has available for sale, as well as hand-ties all of the flies. As with all guide services we offer, our hunting and fishing trips are almost completely customizable. We have a wide range of locations to choose from, and accommodations will vary depending upon the chosen location. Depending on what you want out of your trip we can make recommendations about what location you should choose. I didn't have a moose hunter this week so I took my nephews out goose hunting. Seems like they enjoyed it a lot!

Shockingly still not booked for memorial day weekend. South Branch Lake and Mattanawcook lake both close by. I can do a day on either of those this weekend for $400. Anybody looking to get out and chase some bass this weekend? If interested message for more details.
