Yesterday, the team conducting a dyno testing session in our workshop.

It’s safe to say we’ve made some pretty good progress on it 👀

Awhile back we had a design review for the oil slump on the X-23 which was presented by Adam Zyrowski!

Adam is in his 4 academic year at Michigan Tech pursing a degree in mechanical engineering.

He has been on the team for 5 semesters now and has most definitely left his mark.

Thanks Adam for the hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Last week, Clay Evans from the composites sub-team did a design review for the X23 firewall!

This firewall would be made of carbon fiber pieces with the overall goal of protecting the driver from extreme heat conditions produced by the engine.

So with that being said, we thank you Clay for this design!

A couple of weeks ago, Declain Cashin did his design review on the steering cover rack for the X23!

Declain wants to insure that the steering rack prevents the driver from getting caught or pinched, which could seriously help the driver in the long run!

His design will also reduce cost and overall complexity of the design as well.

Thanks for the design Declain!

Introducing a member Monday spotlight!

Today we have Emma King, a 4th year Mechanical Engineer on the Chassis sub team who currently has 4 semesters on the MTU FSAE team!

Emma is currently working on her vehicle dynamics simulation capstone project, which will help improve the team’s justification on any design changes made and weigh the importance of various vehicle aspects.

In the past, Emma has worked on the thermodynamic analysis of the brake rotors to determine and verify which type we wanted to run on the car.

Emma joined the FSAE team because she “wanted to gain more hands-on experience and get to be apart of the design, build, and test processes”.

When asked what she enjoys the most about the FSAE team, Emma said she enjoys learning new skills that can be applied to the industry after graduation!

Thanks for the hard work Emma!

💉Medical technology?💉

TKR: NMRD
Price Per Share (Wednesday close): $0.7701
Market Cap: $23.12M

Recently we observed Nemaura Medical Incorporated (NMRD) on our NASDAQ CM radar; here's some facts to know about NMRD:

NMRD is a medical technology company developing sugarBEAT, a non-invasive glucose monitoring system for adjunctive use by persons with diabetes, as well as for consumers in the non-diabetes space for monitoring metabolic health and general health and wellness.

sugarBEAT consists of a disposable adhesive skin-patch connected to a rechargeable wireless transmitter that displays glucose readings at regular five-minute intervals via a mobile app.

sugarBEAT works by extracting glucose from the skin into a chamber in the patch that is in direct contact with an electrode-based sensor.

The transmitter sends the raw data to a mobile app where it is processed by an algorithm and displayed as a glucose reading after calibration, with the ability to track and trend the data over 14 hours for each sensor wear period.

Does NRMDs sugarBEAT technology sound interesting to you? 🤔

Two days ago, Mason, a member of the chassis sub team completed his design review for A-Arms on the X23.

This is Masons first semester on the team and has already took big steps for the future of the team with this design review.

Thanks Mason!
