You just arrived in Houghton about to embark on a journey at when all of a sudden there are hundreds of clubs at K-day and you can't decide what to do. Sound familiar?!
When it comes to finding the best way to enjoy the outdoors surrounding Michigan Tech, there is no better opportunity to uniquely experience the portage canal.
We may have wrapped up the season for 2025 but hope to see you out on the water with us in 2026.

Last ski sesh of the season 🧊🥶 — November 15 and still sending it ❄️⛷️ all the snow we got last week is gone but the water is still available, not much boat traffic! Might have to hit up after this one 👀

Last weekend was a busy one for our club members‼️
We helped out Husky Eats at the game, took part in Make a Difference Day with , winterized the boat for the season 🚤❄️, and took part in the .skiandsnowboard club's Night of the Living Shred Rail Ram.
This crew is staying active on and off the water!

Jump Clinic ✅ Before tournament season, 8 of us headed to Spread Eagle, WI for a jump clinic with the Badwater Ski-Ters 🚤⛷️ We had a great time learning to land and building skills off Big Red 💥
We were lucky to catch their last show of the year after jumping. They are full of great skiers and skills. Thank you for having us come over to jump!! 🤙🏼

A couple weeks ago we hosted an event which turned into a Learn to Ski Day and got tons of new faces out on the water 🌊⛷️ It was awesome meeting new members and teaching them the ropes. Even with our boat out of commission these last few weeks of prime season, we’re making the most of it—and having so much fun we barely remembered to take pics 😅💦
