🇺🇸 U.S. Open 🇺🇸

Strong week in Vegas at the U.S. Open! RWA took 11 wrestlers to the hardest Freestyle and Greco-Roman tournament our country has to offer. We are truly proud of everyone that competed! Thank you to Tee, Joe, and Chip for making the trip out to help coach all the kids.

Congratulations to Ariah Mills for making his second consecutive U17 World Team. He will be competing in Azerbaijan this summer at the U17 World Championships! 🇺🇸

Shout out to our younger athletes for making the trip to compete in the Futures division. RWA had 4 wrestlers compete in the Futures division and 3 were crowned All-Americans. 🤼‍♂️

Lastly, Antonio Mills competed in Senior and U20 divisions. Respect to him for going through 3 weigh-ins and earning All-American honors at U20’s. He was 1 match away from All-American in the Senior division. His U20 World Team Trials are scheduled for the end of May in Ohio.

Moving forward, the focus shifts to Fargo, Kids Nationals, and Worlds. 🏡

‼️ Calling all Cadets and Juniors ‼️🗣️

Coach Terry and the Roundtree Wrestling Academy coaches are hosting a prep camp for FS/GR State and SE Regional!

The goal is to bring some of the best wrestlers together to train and prep for all postseason events coming up. This is also a good opportunity to work with the U16 and Junior National Dual Team coaching staffs.

Only experienced wrestlers accepted‼️🤼‍♂️

We all had great mat time at WOW Tulsa Duals this weekend! RWA took three teams (9u, 12u, and 14u) and ALL three made the Gold bracket!

Our 9u team finished 4th. We had 6 All-Americans on the team. Congrats to Knox Payne, Adam Rasmussen, Lincoln Rich, and Asher Montoya for going undefeated. Thor Skidmore and Jayden Crisman both finished with one loss. Shout out to Joe Rasmussen for helping coach the team! 🏅🏅

Our 12u team finished 5th. We had 6 All-Americans on this team too. Congrats to Aviyahn Mills for being voted 12u Most Outstanding Wrestler. Aviyahn, Cooper Corbett, and Kolt Palmer all went undefeated. Louden Moon, Ethan Harris, and TJ Davis all finished with one loss. Thanks to Ariah, Antonio, and Coach Jeremy for coaching the team! 🏅🏅

Lastly, our 14u team finishes as tournament runner-ups! 🥈 We had 11 All-Americans.
Princeton Nunn, D’Angelo Chavez, Kash Clementi, Jha’Kai Roller, Beau Abbott, Javen Russo, and Kam Dotson all went undefeated. Will Hughes, Mason Brown, Max Lupardus, and Nickolas Valencia each had 1 loss. Thank you Derek and Coach Marv for coaching the team! 🦅🥈
