NASA Southeast American Iron at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Saturday's race was intense from the start with several position changes. Did not get the finish we wanted but learned a lot about the track, especially turn 11 under the bridge. Congratulations Carmine Pace on the win.

When you forget to thaw out the turkey 4 days in advance you have to go with the water method. According to Butteball Turkey’s you have to change out the water every 30 minutes. Not sure what BBS’s recommends but I did add a little extra ballast to submerge it.

I am glad we finally made it to Pittsburgh International Race Complex. I didn't think it would be my one and only trip. Sad news for the racing community that the track will be closing at the end of the year. Glad I took some photos back in July to remember the great time we had.

The clock is counting down for loading next Wednesday to head to VIRginia International Raceway with NASA Mid-Atlantic. Looks like a late registration if the all parts arrive in time.
