🥋 TBBA at USATKD Regionals – Final Day Recap! 🥋
What an incredible way to finish the weekend!
Today, three outstanding Poomsae athletes represented Tiger Black Belt Academy on the Regional Championship stage:
🥇 Master Trae Sealey – Gold Medal, 1st Place
🥈 Assistant Instructor Liv McCartney – Silver Medal, 2nd Place
🥈 Assistant Instructor Anthony Fuhrmann – Silver Medal, 2nd Place
The talent, power, and dedication displayed by these athletes was truly impressive.
But anyone who has attended a major tournament knows that sometimes the greatest challenge isn’t your opponent…it’s the event itself.
Hours of waiting. Managing nerves. Staying focused. Then being called to the ring and expected to perform at your very best in a matter of moments.
Our athletes rose to that challenge.
They supported one another, encouraged one another, and grew stronger with every performance. The medals are wonderful, but what made us proudest was the way they carried themselves throughout the entire experience.
A special thank you to Master Seth for coaching our competitors on the floor and standing beside them every step of the way.
Thank you as well to Master Amy and Elite Instructor Parker for providing guidance, encouragement, and support leading up to competition.
And thank you to Tom and Lori for cheering on every competitor from the stands.
Regionals may be coming to an end, but the journey continues. Tomorrow, Team TBBA begins the long drive home to New Hampshire, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who represented our academy this weekend.
The dojang will reopen on Tuesday, and then it’s right back to work as we prepare for Black Belt Testing next Saturday.
Congratulations to all of our competitors, coaches, volunteers, and families. You represented TBBA with excellence all weekend long.
