It was super fun and super hot watching some of Holmen's up and coming golfers today. Thank you to Drugan’s for hosting and thank you to Bennett Laxton for putting these tournaments together. All the boys played well despite the fact it was 100 degrees.

Boys 12-13
1st place...Alex Olson - 39
3rd place...Parker Knadle and Kamyn Welch - 43

Boys 14-15
1st Place...Jack George - 77
3rd Place...Oliver Allind - 81

Good luck to Luke Taebel tomorrow and Thursday in the 125th State Amateur Championship. I messaged Luke today after making the cut and his comments were the course is very difficult. It must be, the scoring average for the field is 78.50. Hit em straight LT!

One more post about the 2026 Boys Golf Team. I was notified yesterday that out of 408 student athletes from 167 schools, all 5 of our Regional/Sectional players were recognized as Academic All-State. Our team had an exceptional 3.79 GPA. Congratulations to our boys for excellent work on and off the course.

Congratulations to Oliver Allind and Brekken Stetter for finishing 2nd and 3rd in a 22 player field last Wednesday. Oliver shot a 36 and Brekken shot a 37 in the 14-15 age division. Great job boys!
