🪕BLUEGRASS: We are thrilled to confirm that the Rollin’ Coal bluegrass band is back again this year for the Medoc Trail Races. It has become a tradition that we just don’t want to see end.

So bring a blanket, chair, or just dance around and enjoy a fall day at Medoc Mountain State Park listening to some good old fashioned pick’in.

FINISHER SUPRISE? If you are new here, we have always given away a finisher's surprise item after the race. This began way back in 2008 when we realized we were going to turn an unexpectedly large profit. . . so we bought everyone a running hat. We've been doing this ever since.

Past items have included. . . running hats, trucker hats, handheld running water bottles, blankets, bottle openers, seat shields, running beanies, running vests, and coffee mugs.

We are already making plans for 2026 but interested in new ideas. What would you like to see as a surprise item after running around the woods this coming October? It could be something completely different, or one of our past ideas that you really enjoyed.
