Only one more week until the biggest one of the season… the BIG GO! Only this year we’ll have both TUR entries racing for the coveted win in Indy with Raymond Nash in the FSS entry and Zachary Nash sneaking into stock eliminator just a few days ago! Can’t wait to be back at it!

What an unforgettable day yesterday was. Zachary Nash picked up some jewelry, winning one of these beautiful 75th anniversary diamond Wally’s! We came out to Cecil County Dragway to earn some more grade points with 2 available this weekend, and we’re also able to run our first ever class race. With two FS/D cars in stock eliminator, Z got to run his first ever heads up race for a chance at a Wally! We set a new PB in this round of 9.62 as our RBRE hemi took us home to the winners circle! We can’t thank David and the whole team at Ray Barton Racing Engines enough for helping us find this car to run in stock eliminator, looking it all over before getting it on track, and building some absolutely bad ass hemi’s! We wouldn’t be heading home with a Wally if it weren’t for these guys! Thank you to CG Detroit for helping us revamp the look of a 2010 DragPak with such an awesome wrap. Thank you to Racetech USA Impact Racing for helping us stay safe out on track. Also a big thank you goes out to everyone involved in the event from all the track workers, Alan Reinhart coming all the way from Arizona to call the event. And to everyone at the NHRA Northeast Division for absolutely busting ass yesterday to get all of race #2 completed with some bad weather rolling in today. A day and weekend we will never forget! Next stop for our team, the BIG GO!

Some stock eliminator action this weekend for Zachary Nash here at Cecilcountydragway . We posted a new PB of 9.66 in Q2 today to wrap up qualifying in the #32 spot out of 90 stock cars, looking forward to eliminations tomorrow!

Zachary Nash wrapped up qualifying in the #23 spot out of 61 stock eliminator cars with a 9.75 . We will head into round 1 this afternoon!

Racing is underway here at the NHRA US 131 Motorsports Park Divisional. Zachary Nash is currently qualified #30 out of 56 cars after Q2 with a 9.86 at the end of day 1. Q3 coming up tomorrow morning before heading into eliminations tomorrow evening!

We would like to give a huge thank you to Burnt Rubber Garage for getting the 2010 Dragpak in to replace the fuel lines on a short notice. After unloading the car after the Norwalk Nationals we noticed a small fuel leak in the rear of the car, with the US 131 Motorsports Park divisonal race this weekend we didn’t have much time to get it fixed/replaced. Dave and his team were able to sneak us in on short notice and get it taken care of! Anyone local to us in the northeast Ohio area be sure to check them out!

What an up and down weekend it was for our team at America’s racetrack Summit Motorsports Park but hey that’s racing. Unfortunately both TUR entries went out in the first round of eliminations in their respective categories. Zachary Nash going out in round 1 of stock on Friday morning, and Raymond Nash going out round 1 of FSS on Saturday evening. We were able to make some solid laps in both cars, first with the ‘09 Dragpak we qualified 18th out of 54 stock cars in the very first national event for the car. And in the ‘21 FSS Dragpak we set a new PB of 7.66 and 180mph qualifying 4th, before having a mechanical failure in E1 where the car had no rear suspension and did a 60 ft burnout off the starting line. Science and physics are undefeated in racing. No rear suspension in an FSS car is no bueno. Our FSS race was over at the hit of the throttle. Not the way we wanted our home race to go but we are still sitting #2 in NHRA Factory Stock Showdown points heading into the 2 month break before our final 4 races of the season starting with Indy. We will regroup , get the car fixed , and have the best car we can have to make a championship push in the final 4 races of the season….never, ever quit! Good days ahead for TUR and we are excited to see everyone in Indy. Day #2 of the Norwalk Nationals is underway! So awesome to have both of the cars running our home race. Unfortunately Zachary Nash went out in round 1 this morning of Stock, so we now turn our focus to Raymond Nash in NHRA Factory Stock Showdown . In Q1 we posted a new PB of 7.69 to put us in the #4 qualifying position. Q2 will be coming up later today, looking forward to a great weekend!
