Located in High Falls NY, Stone Dock is a scenic, 9-hole course with a challenging and fun layout, and has a lovely, sun-filled bar and event space and backyard with great views for our golf outings and special occasions. This nine hole course provides two par 5s, five par 4s, and two par 3s with four sets of tees to suit the abilities of various levels of golfers.

Good morning! We will be posting frost delays going forward. Today’s delay will be until 9 AM.

Why Golf Courses Enforce Frost Delays:
Golf courses are highly strict about ensuring frost is 100% melted before allowing anyone onto the grass. When the turf is frozen, the water inside the grass blades expands into tiny ice crystals. Walking or driving a golf cart over frozen blades fractures these crystals, rupturing the plant’s cell walls. This causes immediate, localized turf death, often leaving behind a trail of black, dead footprints or tire tracks that can take months to heal.

After 2 weeks with 7 stitches from a wound on the paw — something sharp on the course 😠 — this guy is so stir crazy that he pulled off his leash this morning and needed a bath, stinking from whatever dead thing he excitedly found out there. Shivering from the much needed bath, he’s docked again (on the vet’s orders), cone to help the healing for another 5 days. Poor guy! #
