Reminder: once a family is enrolled in Tadpool Swim School, their swim needs are a priority to me over anyone on the waitlist. Spring and Summer at TSS stay very booked with these families as that is the time of year most families seek instruction. It’s very rare for me to get opening for new families during those seasons so I encourage all my families on the waitlist to consider that and take the opportunity when a spot is open, even if it’s the fall. I have started a few new families yesterday and today and I’m not exaggerating when I say they are blown away and thrilled to have a spot. There is nothing else quite like Tadpool Swim School and I’m so very blessed and grateful to say this. 🥹

Wishing my daughter (and sometimes TSS helper) a Happy thirteenth Birthday!! Proud of her kind heart, smart brain, and for really letting herself learn to be confident in herself this past year. Middle school is not for the weak and this girl is rising above the bullying and making her own way with her own group of close friends. I love my girl and I know her dad is looking down from Heaven and feeling so proud of his daughter 😭😭😭. Happy Birthday Emma Jane!!

Current Swim Families:
What do y’all think of this idea? Wanted to see if y’all would be interested before I made it an official offering. I would put the option on the software and let y’all sign up for whatever nights you wanted- it would not be a lesson block like my swim lessons.

Fall Friday nights are for Fitness and Fun for the Family!

I came up with something FUN for my parents and kiddos on Friday nights! How about a water aerobics class for the parent(s) and free childcare for one child while you do the class? My daughter Emma (and Mr. John or one of her friends that I know well, if she needs a second set of hands) can play with the kiddos on the circle rug or up in the room at the top of the stairs where they color. I keep extra toys and games for them to play with and Emma is great with the kiddos. Want to bring more than one sibling? Just $5. Obviously, if your child is too young or too busy for this to be a reasonable situation (knowing other children will be present and need caring for), please consider another form of childcare if you wish to attend.
Cost: $25 per water fitness class attendee
Capacity: 4 adults
Instructor: ME
Day/Time:Friday nights at 6:20-6:50
Expect lots of fun 80’s and 90’s upbeat tunes and a really fun workout- leaving you feeling so relaxed for your Friday evening. Kids will get to go to treasure chest before they leave and will feel excited to spend quality time playing with all the toys they see when they come to swim lessons

RETURNING STUDENTS:
Do you know we have GROUP lessons now??
I created two group lessons per week with my returning students in mind. Booking now for September, October, November, and December!

Mondays 3:20-3:50 ages 4-8, $35/each lesson, up to 3 kids

Tuesdays 5:10-5:40 ages 6 and up, $35/each lesson, up to 3 (maybe 4)

These lessons are designed to help my students gain even more confidence in the deep end as they will be swimming with other children in the deep end. We will master our treading skills, perfect our freestyle technique, work on breaststroke and back stroke, get comfortable with diving deep, and practice jumping in with other children and swimming back to the wall, across the pool, down to retrieve a toy, etc - among other helpful deep end skills. They will not be sitting on the side as they each take turns- they will be swimming and learning together. Remember, I’m a certified lifeguard and I teach siblings all the time. My group lessons will NOT look like other people’s group swim lessons.

I have still have openings for all months through December for these group lessons. I’d love to see these get booked fully because I know they are going to be so great for my returning students (especially my anxious swimmers - being around other children their age will help them push themselves to try harder in their lessons. This is a BIG reason why I created group lessons). I will open to families on the waitlist if I need to but I wanted to encourage all my families that have already attended Tadpool Swim School in the past (“returning students”) to consider signing their kiddos up for this great new class offering.

SEEKING: Families/students that have been waiting for a spot on the waitlist that are available before 3 pm during weekdays. Just don’t want to miss anyone!

REMINDER:Fall and Winter is THE time to get in Tadpool Swim School. Spring and Summer stay so booked with returning families- openings for families on the waitlist are rare during those seasons. I teach my students as quickly as they can handle. It is not uncommon for a child age 3 or older (or an adult) that is already comfortable going under water learning to actually swim on their first day! So please don’t miss out on an opportunity to get in when you can! My waiting list is pages and pages AND PAGES long!

Seeking: if you feel like you’ve been in the waiting list FOREVER and you are available BEFORE 3 clock during the week, I want to hear from you!
I have the longest waitlist but majority of families need after school and after work times and/or only want lessons in spring and summer. I want to w**d those families out and this is one quick way to do it! I will vet the responses, make sure they are indeed on the waiting list and prioritize those that have been waiting the longest. Y’all know I don’t get opening often bc magic happens here (lol but seriously- Tadpool swim school is one of a kind - I realize it even more now that I’m doing social media and have other swim instructors begging for my curriculum- which is my very own and not for sale 😉) and Fall/Winter is the BEST time to get in off the waiting list bc it’s rare to get a spot off the waiting list in the spring/summer. Tysm for your patience with me!
