As we close out another incredible school year, we want to congratulate all of our graduating seniors and celebrate the athletes, band members, performers, club leaders, and student organizations that make Conner such a special place.

A BIG Congratulations to our Conner High School Softball team for an amazing year! We are so proud of all you accomplished! Can't wait to see what you all do next season! 👏🥎

Head Coach, Shawn Sproles:

Each season we have a story for our year. 2026 was the year of Culture. We accomplished a lot of great things this year
-First time since 2015 won the regular season district title
- Most wins in my tenure and most since 2015
- First time since 2015 the program went to three straight district finals and regions.
The team battled through adversity as most teams do, but they did it with the direction of our amazing 5 seniors. Young ladies who understand the true identity of this program and what we truly stand for. Conner softball is something special to a lot of people and we have always understood this program is about TEAM not me. We have been blessed to have some great players through the years, but what I have loved the most is their commitment and sacrifice to help the team succeed. We don't talk about individual stats in the program and we celebrate a bunt as much as a home run. We understand its a game and take pride in playing for our high school. We will always give you everything we have and battle to the end playing the game right way. That's our culture.

Addison, Averie, Bre, Riley and Ryanne, THANK YOU for staying true to our identity and keeping the program in great hands. We have some young talented underclassmen who played big roles this year and now the pressure of keeping the culture intact falls to them. TEAM before ME. As every senior states when they walk out, they would give away any accolade in order for this team to win a district or region.....That's who we are, Conner softball.

Long post, but I needed to vent a little bit, as I wasnt ready for this season to end.

Thank you again to the coaches, the players, parents and most importantly my family. This year was crazy in the Sproles household but thankful I have their support.

Offseason ahead but then its time to get right back to it.

What a season for our Conner Cougars Baseball team ❤️💙⚾️

While the 2026 season has come to an end, this team has so much to be proud of. Tip your cap to a strong competition — but never forget this group will always be remembered as BACK-TO-BACK DISTRICT CHAMPS! 🏆🏆

Thank you, boys, for the memories, the heart, the hustle, and the pride you brought to Cougar Nation all season long. It’s been an absolute pleasure watching this team compete, grow, and represent Conner the right way.

The season may be over, but the legacy lives on.

The 2026 season unfortunately came to a close this evening. Tip your cap to a good Beechwood team. It’s been a pleasure watching this Conner team. Back to Back District Champs they will always be. Thanks boys!
