“The Connie Mack World Series is an elite, wood-bat amateur baseball tournament for highly talented players ages 16 to 18, held annually in Farmington, New Mexico. Teams from across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico must qualify through regional tournaments to compete”.

JV awards from last nights end of year banquet. These boys have bright futures ahead starting next season. I know all 3 will put in the work! Jacob Myers-Soph (Offensive Player of the Year), Landon Fischesser- Jr (Pitcher of the Year) and Caleb Miller-Fresh (Defensive Player of the Year). Conner held its end of the year banquet last night. Props to these young men from Varsity for receiving the following awards! Case Testerman (Defensive Player of the Year), Grayson Wagner (Offensive Player of the Year), Brady Bushman (Pitcher of the Year), Nick Konsulis (Dallas Willoughby Award). All 4 are very deserving! Congrats!

Today’s shoutout is to one of my favorite Conner players ever, Nick Konsulis! Nick took on a starting OF role for 2026 where he showed his skill in covering a lot of ground for tough plays. It certainly helped that Nick grew 7 inches from his Junior to Senior year where he ended up being one on the tallest players on the team. Nick is the embodiment of what hard work, positivity and perseverance can do for a player. It’s been a joy Nicholas!

I want to wish James Arbaugh the best as he transitions from Conner Baseball where he was a 2 year Varsity starter at third base to the University of Pikeville Baseball. We enjoyed watching James make tough plays look easy!

Tonight I want to say farewell to Case Testerman! Case is a 4 year Varsity player and 3 year starter at shortstop where he was the anchor for a defense that won Back to Back District Championships. Over the last few years Case has been one of most high IQ hitters in NKY. Case also took on a major leadership role in 2026. Thanks for the memories Case!
