Chance's proudest accomplishment this season was winning the Big Sky Region Team Roping Championship and qualifying for the 2026 College National Finals Rodeo.
When asked about being a college athlete, Chance described it as:
"Fun, but challenging at times."
Chance credits his family, friends, and the entire MSU-Northern Rodeo Team for helping him along the way.
"My family, friends, and everyone at MSU-Northern have been a huge support system for me."

Cayda's proudest accomplishment this season was winning MSU-Northern's home rodeo and capturing the Big Sky Region Barrel Racing Championship.
"Being a college athlete has taught me so much. I am learning to balance school, rodeo, and horse care. I also love the friends that I've made while being at college."
"NIRA helped me become more competitive. It was a tough freshman year, but it was only leveling me up."
"My support system is my parents and my friends. They are my biggest supporters, and I am so thankful for them."

🤠🔥 HAVRE & THE HI-LINE — IT’S TIME TO RALLY FOR THE GREAT NORTHERN STAMPEDE RODEO 🔥🤠

The Great Northern Stampede Rodeo is more than just another rodeo — it’s a historic tradition, a piece of Havre history, and something we want to see continue to grow for generations to come. 🐎🌾

The MSU-Northern Rodeo Team is looking for Community members, rodeo fans, alumni, businesses, and anyone who loves western heritage to help us make the 2026 Great Northern Fair & Great Northern Stampede Rodeo on July 16–17 BIGGER and BETTER than ever. 💥

We need volunteers willing to help:
🏆 Find sponsors to help grow contestant payout purses as well as secure prizes and partnerships
🤠 Assist with rodeo production and event support during rodeo week
🤝 Help bring excitement, energy, and community support back to one of Havre’s most historic events

This is volunteer support, and all proceeds directly benefit the MSU-Northern Rodeo Program and the student-athletes representing our community across the region. 🐂💙 volunteers will not only benefit the program but also the community keep traditions of Havre going strong.

📅 Please let us know by May 31 if you’d like to be involved so we can include you in our first Great Northern Stampede planning meeting on June 2.

As we wrap up the regular season, we’re incredibly thankful for the support behind this team. We cannot say thank you enough.

Before the results—we’re celebrating this group.
They showed up all year—through tough runs, long days, and big moments. They stayed gritty, stayed together, and proved they are BUILT for the arena.
We’re proud of this too… an NAIA program lining up alongside some of the biggest schools out there—and our kids never back down. They show up with grit, belief, and a commitment to each other every single time. That’s what this team is about.
