We wanted to take a moment and really celebrate some personal achievements on behalf of five of our outstanding players!! We had five athletes nominated and voted in for post-season honors and we are so proud!! These girls worked so hard, not only this season, but throughout their career to earn these honors.
1st Team All-State and All-Conference: Ariana Gary & Amaya Jarvis
#1 Amaya Jarvis was a 6 rotation outside hitter for us. Some season highlights: 393 kills, .281 hitting percentage, 370 digs, 3.1 digs/set, 39 aces, & 39 blocks.
#7 Ariana Gary was a outside hitter/middle blocker for us and one of our team captains. Some season highlights: 426 kills, .304 hitting percentage, 3.6 kills/set, 37 aces, 93.8% serving, & 143 blocks.
2nd Team All-Conference:
Katie Tilleman & Tahlyn Olson
#16 Tahlyn Olson was a defensive specialist and then ended the last part of season as our libero. Some season highlights: 45 aces, 95.7% serving, 683 digs, 5.9 digs/set, & 2.04 serve receive average.
#20 Katie Tilleman was a 6 rotation outside hitter/middle blocker for us as well as one of team captains. Some season highlights: 326 kills, .235 hitting percentage, 95 blocks, 305 digs, 2.7 digs/set, 42 aces &, 95.7% serving.
Honorable Mention All-Conference:
#3 Bree Hanson was our 6 rotation setter and one of our team captains and was our official floor captain. Some season highlights: 38 aces, 89.9% serving percentage, 46 blocks, .131 attacking percentage, 296 digs, 2.5 digs/set, & 1,182 assists.
An overall amazing year for your Blue Ponies and it would not have been possible without every single player on our roster!! These 5 got some stand out recognition and for that we are so thankful and very proud!!
