🚨HOLD THE ROPE🚨

A team is only as strong as the player who refuses to let go under pressure or discomfort.

The Lady Bucs began the offseason with workouts in July. Prior to their first workout, the players engaged in a discussion of what it meant to “Hold The Rope,” and where we could improve in areas to live by the standard daily.

Throughout each Summer workout, a Lady Buc was selected whose work ethic stood loud and held on despite the pressure or discomfort presented within the workout - demonstrating an ability to do whatever necessary to “hang on” for her teammates.

The future of Haughton Softball is bright with this team of 23 and we can’t wait to see what these girls accomplish alongside one another.

Hitting Update:

This week’s hitting will be Tuesday ONLY. There will be no hitting session on Thursday due to an extended 4th of July weekend for HHS Players and Coaching Staff!

With the holiday weekend approaching, wear your best RED, WHITE, AND BLUE attire to hitting tomorrow! Hope to see you there!

Unfortunately, the continuous rain in our area over the last several days has the field unusable today. As a result, tonight’s hitting has been cancelled.

Thursday’s hitting session will be extended an additional hour from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to make up for part of today.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to see you Thursday!

While the skies have cleared, the amount of rain yesterday has the field in unfavorable conditions for hitting. Unfortunately, tonight’s hitting has been cancelled.
We’re hoping for sunshine and will reevaluate for Thursday!

Come hit with some of the current HHS players on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in an effort to give extra reps to those that want them and help grow this beautiful sport!

If you can’t make it one day, don’t worry - there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the month of June!

Any updates due to weather will be posted to this page!

We know the weather isn’t the best currently. However, radars show rain moving out around 5:00.
We will move forward with tryouts this evening with flexibility.
If necessary, we will take defense on the turf football field and hit in the cages.
