While Friday was nasty weather to shoot in Saturday made up for it with a beautiful sunny day. But the stages were still pretty tough on shooters.
So we ended up running just shy of 80 shooters thru 5 stages on Saturday and were still done at a reasonable time. I do apologize for the late start, but we were trying to catch up from the hole that Friday's rain put us in.
Was an awesome day to run that many shooters thru 5 somewhat complicated stages, many have never shot from a moving vehicle or from a static car's drivers seat. But you guys killed it no DQ's or safety issues and no one shot our car.
Make sure to thank your RSO's most were out in the rain setting up on Friday and back at it early Saturday morning, without them this would not be possible.
For the 1D it was a fight all day Jeff & Rock were very close, then Jeff made the crucial mistake of pretty much daring Rock to shoot the long steel bay pistol only. Well he did and aced all 3 steel with his pistol from 120yds, got the bonus and the win.
So 1D winners were Rock L., Jeff D, Caleb K, Aiden S, Sean J, and Rich C. Congrats they were some tough stages.
2D winners are are not really going to change the yearly standing until someone hits twice. We had Dave K, Cassidy B, Todd C, Jake B, Dave W and Eldin F round out the top 6.
Cassidy is still increasing her lead in the Women's. Following Cassidy we had Elizabeth D, Valarie H, Nada H and Emma D. rounding out the top five.
For clean stages it was a tough match only 1 shooter managed to pull a clean stage on anything other than the steel only stage. Luke D. pulled 2 clean stages this month with most everyone else just getting the steel only stage.
