Trying to start up a trap league on Tuesday’s from 3:30 to 6. Got a team from Munn. If would you like to try to get a team from your shop or church that would be great. If you are at Hastings Fiberglass see Bruce Lloyd. Hope to practice on Tuesday nights then once a month have a shoot off. I’ll buy a traveling trophy so your team can show it off then bring it back the next month.

Update on survey. The pistol ranges. There has been requests for steel targets to shoot in bays. This is a no. Steel has to be shot from at least 10 yards away. I can’t guarantee people will stay that far away. Liability. You can bring your own and then it’s on you.
Putting plywood backers back up isn’t going to happen. When we did this we could get plywood for 4-5 dollars per sheet. We can’t afford to put up expensive plywood to shoot that nobody takes care of and then shoots the posts in half. We tried fence post and strings with clips but people shot the clips up then shot the fence posts. I will put out in front of the board we buy garage sale signs that you stick in the ground, you can clip your targets to and put some on each bay. I’ll hang them in them in the bays, clip your target to them shoot then hang them back up for others.

Update on survey. One of the questions was the cops using the range. You can still use the range with the cops there. Just work around them. They usually are using the first big bay. The others are open.

Last night the board approved the purchase of the electric gate. It’ll be like the ones at the car wash was my understanding. It’ll take a month or two to install and for us to train and understand it.

We also approved making the old cowboy bays deeper hopefully out to 100 yards. This will help with the big bore range being more open and having individual bays for that distance.

We are also looking into putting crushed concrete down on drive way. Getting bids. Hopefully done within the next month.

Another response was for better communication. I’ll try to do better here on things I can post. Not very good at tech stuff but I’ll try to be better.
