Nebraska Wild Kats General rules
*Safety is our #1 priority. Be willing to help each other out
*All state and federal rules and regulations will be followed. If any tickets are issued between livewell checks and weigh ins you will be disqualified with no refund of entry fee
*NO DRUG OR ALCOHOL USE DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS
*4 rod max. Unless your fishing solo then state regulations apply. 6 rod max in Kansas
*Teams can consist of whatever your boat can legally hold. GET THE YOUTH INVOLVED!! (Still 4 or 6 rod max)
*Youth consists of 15 & younger
*Boat fishing ONLY. MUST HAVE A LIVEWELL, NO METAL BASKETS, NO STRINGERS
*Rod and Reel ONLY
*Livewell inspections will be done.
*NO dead fish will be weighed, dead fish will result in disqualification. Once a fish is weighed it counts towards your total weight
*All fish weighed become property of Nebraska Wild Kats and will be released immediately
* Any disputes must be presented in writing to the tournament director 30 min prior to weigh-in. All decisions made by the tournament directors are final
*5 FISH WEIGH IN 2 over 30 inches and 3 under 30 inches (Milford slot 28" to 40") Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and Flat head catfish will be allowed
*ONLY BRING 5 FISH TO SCALE. IF YOU HAVE OVER 5 FISH AT SCALE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. You can have more than 5 in your livewell. Only put 5 in the tote for weigh in
*NO pre fishing 12 hours prior to tournament start time, bait fishing will be allowed
*Nebraska Wild Kats is not responsible for any accidents or damage
*NO CHUMMING ALLOWED OR FISHING KNOWN CHUM HOLES
*Total weight ties will be broken using the big fish weight.
*Big fish ties will be broken with total weight. If ties still exist a coin flip will determine higher finish
*ALL FISH WILL BE MEASURED ON THEIR SIDES
*Trailering will be allowed if possible and allowed by law.
*50 yards distance between event boats is REQUIRED!
*Check in chips must be on the chip board prior to the end of the event. No weight will be recorded for late arrivals.
*No sharing information with other competitors via phones or social media.
*Unsportsmanlike activities will not be tolerated!!!!!!!!!!
*All competitors are subject to polygraph examination at the discretion of the tournament directors. Refusal or failure of a requested polygraph test will result in forfeiture of any and all winnings for that event.
*Select events may require a mandatory pre-tournament meeting to fulfill sponsorship obligations
* All tournaments with a mandatory rules meeting will receive 2 chips, 1st chip goes on the board once livewell is checked, 2nd chip goes on the board for weigh in
