Our final rehearsal was last night, and our dancers are ready to hit the stage Monday evening! 🩵

After months of hard work, dedication, and countless hours in the studio, we can't wait to showcase everything our dancers have accomplished this season. From our tiniest performers to our seniors, this show is going to be one to remember!

Today we celebrate our incredible seniors! Each and every one of these girls has left a lasting impact on our UDC family through their hard work, dedication, leadership, and love for dance. Watching you grow into the amazing young women you are today has been such a privilege.

AcroDance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Main stream media including dance television programs like ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ and ‘Dance Moms’ have further fuelled it’s demand in amateur competitive dance and studio settings.
Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.
