Max Joseph and Braxton Lewis have been officially named to the 2026 Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association (IHSGCA) Academic All-State Team.

This award is given to the top 15 student athletes in Indiana based on academic success and participation on their varsity golf team.

This award is available to seniors only, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and SAT score of 1100, and who competed at their Sectional tournament and in at least half of their varsity events this season.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement for both Max and Braxton! What a way to cap off two stellar high school golf careers!

Way to go Rebels! Huge day for Rebel Golf! Congratulations Braxton!

Southwestern Boys Golf finished 2nd place at the IHSAA Sectional #29 today at Sunrise Golf Course and is moving on to the Regional Thursday at Champions Pointe Golf Club!

Southwestern finished with a team score of 323, three strokes behind Scottsburg who finished in first place with a 320. Southwestern was followed by Jennings County who finished 3rd place with a 325.

Congratulations to Braxton Lewis who finished at the low medalist shooting a school record 68, four under par and is the first ever sectional medalist from Southwestern!

Southwestern Boys Golf picked up our 10th win of the season tonight at home against Rising Sun.

Congratulations to Talon Wynn who was the medalist tonight finishing 1st overall with a 36!

It was great to finish out the season with a strong win as we continue preparations for the sectional on Monday.
