🎾🏒 FALL II YOUTH SPORTS ARE HERE!

Looking for a fun way to keep your child active this fall? Try something new at the Gettysburg YMCA! 🙌

We’re excited to introduce TWO NEW PILOT PROGRAMS for Fall II:

🎾 YOUTH TENNIS CLINICS
Join tennis professional Jesse Holt for fun, engaging clinics designed to build fundamental tennis skills. Kids will work on technique, footwork, serving, ball control, and shot development through drills and games.

🏒 FLOOR HOCKEY
Ready to hit the floor? This co-ed recreational program introduces players to stick handling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and game play — with a mix of skill-building and organized games each week.

✨ Both programs are open to all skill levels! Activities will be adapted based on age and ability, creating a supportive environment where kids can learn, build confidence, and HAVE FUN.
🙌 Equipment is provided by the YMCA for both programs!
💥 Don’t wait! Help your child try something new this fall! Registration is open, and the first session is offered at a low introductory cost.

⭐💙KIM CAPONE - September Employee of the month!!💙⭐
Kim is an incredible example of what it means to be dedicated to the YMCA and its mission. She currently serves as the sole instructor for our North Hanover YMCA swimming lesson opportunities, helping swimmers build confidence, develop essential water safety skills, and enjoy their time in the pool. 🏊🏼‍♂️
She also continues to serve our Y as a lifeguard, helping keep pools open and our members safe.🥰

Kim’s commitment goes far beyond her regular responsibilities. During our recent pool shutdown, she came in to help with cleaning and whatever else needed to be done. She is always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and support her coworkers... a true team player!🫧

Kim has given years of service to the YMCA, including serving as a director before retiring. We are incredibly fortunate that retirement didn’t take her too far from the Y! She continues to share her experience, dedication, and love for the YMCA with our staff, members, and swimmers. 🙌🏼
