🛡️ DEFENSE = ANTICIPATION 🥎

At Attack Softball, great defense starts BEFORE the ball is hit.
We don’t wait and react late, we prepare early, move with intent, and attack every rep with confidence.

Our defensive philosophy is built on 5 key habits:

1️⃣ THINK
Know the situation. Outs, runners, ball location, and your responsibility.

2️⃣ MOVE
Move early. First move wins. Aggressive footwork creates opportunity.

3️⃣ ATTACK
Attack the ball with confidence and purpose. Through the ball, not to it.

4️⃣ EXECUTE
Clean fielding. Strong footwork. Finish the play.

5️⃣ RESPOND
Win or learn. Reset quickly and attack the next rep.

Elite defenders communicate early, expect the ball, and trust their preparation. That’s how confidence is built. 💪

ATTACK softball 12u Gray:

A strong showing at the plate with timely hits up and down the lineup, paired with really solid work in the circle. Calm, focused pitching and great support behind it.

Love seeing the growth, teamwork, and effort from this group every time they step on the field.

It’s early mornings, late nights, off-season reps, and the moments no one sees. It’s the blood, sweat, and tears from November through March that show up when it matters most.

And that’s why it’s so much fun watching our Attack softball girls compete right now because we know exactly what went into it.

If you love your performance in April, May, and June… thank the work you put in all winter. 💪🥎

What a day at Joel Barrett Baseball & Softball 🔥

Theme: Work Hard 💪4 stations. Non-stop energy.

⚾ Pitching Lab with Coach JD – stretch & windup + competitive games⚾ Hitting with Coach Barrett & Coach Carson – swing path, tee work, line drives up the middle⚾ Fielding with Coach Carson – backhands, reps, and pitchback work⚾ Sliding with Coach Nora – headfirst & feet-first… and a LOT of fun

Every station packed with drills for all skill levels.

💯 Moment of the day:Logan showed what this is all about. In Steal the Bacon, he called himself out after being tagged — even when it wasn’t seen. That’s character. That’s honesty. That’s what we build here.

🏆 Logan earns our Honesty Award today — proud coach moment.
