Our Competition Team and Hip Hop Crew Auditions are June 20th! Here are a few things to know:
-Last year’s teams had 37 students! We are estimating, we will be at about 45 this coming year! Things are growing around Soar!
-Students should have prior dance training before auditioning. The older they are, the more skills they need to have to make the team. Students should start in our recreational department first unless they have training somewhere else before this.
-It takes dedication! There are attendance requirements. They have to review choreography videos at home also.
-There are financial commitments. However, we give you a form at the beginning of the year that documents how much you will be paying each month.
-You choose how big you make this! Some of our hip hop crew kids come in one day per week and compete one dance! Other competition students choose to train multiple days per week and compete lots of dances. However, it takes time to earn solos, duos, and trios.
-Competition teams are work, but we also have a lot of fun! The students build close friendships and learn the value of teamwork!
