Big weekend at TRAC.

This Saturday, we’re celebrating, gathering, connecting, and pouring back into community.

Join us for our Ribbon Cutting Celebration at 12:15 PM, followed by a reception with food, a live DJ, good vibes, and community together.

Then at 3:30 PM, Sister to Sister begins — an afternoon for women filled with conversation, encouragement, laughter, and connection. Come for one event or stay the whole time. Either way, pull up to TRAC this weekend.

TRAC is growing into so much more than a dance studio. We’re becoming a true arts and community-centered organization serving thousands of children and families through performances, outreach, mentorship, experiences, and community programming.

Now, we’re officially launching our new Village Team + Experience Team — hands-on community support teams designed to help us continue building something special.

As we prepare for our ribbon cutting next week, our bistro is getting an upgrade — creating even more space for our community to sit, connect, and build together. What started as just an idea a few months ago is now becoming tangible, and we’re grateful to watch the vision continue to come to life. 🙌🏾

“So… why are we doing the ribbon cutting now?” ❤️

Truthfully, when you step into something God ordained for you, stewardship becomes the priority. There was no time to cut ribbons — there was work to do, students to serve, and vision to build.

Over this past year, we’ve been growing into what Tia Russell Arts Center is becoming. Then, through the kindness of one of our amazing dance moms, we were connected with town officials to officially commemorate and welcome TRAC to the Town of Hamden.

This moment means so much more than a ribbon. It’s a celebration of faith, community, growth, and everyone who has been part of this journey.

Now it’s time to show Hamden who we are. ❤️
