We took Big dog out to support the Kids on the go last flag football game! We had a blast cheering for the kids and shooting shirts out to the audience and players. Our partnership with kids on the go has helped us embody our moto "We are all Gearheads" by helping to further inclusivity in our community. We had an amazing time last month at rainbow rumble! We at Gearheads feel strongly connected to the ideals behind this competition, being able to foster an accepting environment for all people no matter how they identify is a part of our own identity. We are all Gearheads no matter what so we are thankful to have been a part of an event that promotes inclusivity and acceptance of a community that is often overlooked. We finished 14th and were the first pick of . , and helped form an amazing 6th alliance! We competed hard and were eliminated in round 4 and we had loads of fun! We want to thank for hosting Rainbow Rumble and welcoming us so warmly for their wonderful event.

Our Gearheads Robotics Team FRC1189 has earned the incredible opportunity to compete at the World Championship in Houston — and we need your support to get there! 🚀

Getting a team to Worlds is no small feat. It involves transporting a full robot and competition pit (essentially a mobile workshop for repairs), coordinating travel for 20+ students, and covering hotels and meals for nearly a week. It’s a big lift — but an even bigger opportunity.

These students are gaining real-world skills in engineering, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership in a way that simply can’t be replicated in a classroom.
