2-Day Pistol Performance is a wrap! With heat indexes well into the triple digits, we can’t say enough about the attitudes and dedication of these 19 law enforcement officers who shed the ego and were committed to bettering themselves at being gun carrying professionals.

We’re proud to be change agents for LE fi****ms training and this course and the excitement of the students showed us it’s headed in the right direction!

Several students got their first exposure to a different look at some fundamentals, some movement, hit factor scoring, and USPSA style stages.

Huge thanks to Wilder Tactical Vortex Optics Safariland Group and HOWITZER MFG for helping out with not only our top-shot prizes, but for being supportive of our overall mission!

I’m a little late to the party on this post, mainly because my video editor ( Dallas Warren ) was working on other projects… allegedly. The edits are 🔥 tho.

Anyway, here’s my classifier match from 8/8 at TRC | The Range Complex After the match, I’m sitting at 72.8%… B Class Bandit. 🤣 You can see my out of ammo / reload debacle on 25-05, which along with my flubbed reload last month at pittcountywildlifeclub likely cost me A Class. If I would have been wearing what thicccboy_actual was wearing while expertly RO’ing, I likely could have made the jump to M Class. 😉

It’s all good though… I’m progressing and I’ve identified stuff I need to work on.

We’re still grinding. Don’t forget 5th Annual LEO Range Day is 9/10 in Cabarrus County. There’s a couple of spots left in the carbine class, so jump on that.

This past week we had the distinct honor to develop and deliver a custom carbine course for the High Point Police (NC) SWAT Team. This was one of the first times the team had brought in true outside instruction, and it was a phenomenal day.

Their willingness to drop the ego and open their minds to potentially new or different training concepts is a model and example that all teams, instructors, and cops in general should follow.

It was a hot one, but these boys put in the work that made it worth it. We also can’t remember the last time we laughed so hard at the good-natured ribbing that can only be found on a team like this. Almost made us miss it for a minute… almost. 😉

Massive shoutout and thanks to some of the companies that help us make training like this possible… Calculated Kinetics Vortex Optics Safariland Group and Wilder Tactical were hooking dudes up for stage wins and top shot prizes.
