We went from running 5βƒž features in 5βƒž days to 1βƒž feature on the first night after rain showed up and ruined all our fun for the rest of the week. Highlight of the week was my cheeseburger at lunch 🀣

The team gave me a rocket last weekend! Unfortunately my throttle cable broke, while leading, in the first feature resulting in a DNF. Billy and my dad agreed on the setup for my second feature and said I'd need to be glued to the bottom to make the track as small as possible. They gave me a perfect setup and I drove flawlessly through HEAVY lap traffic to win my 5th feature of the year.

My Factory Fourteen team worked hard all week and weekend to give me a hot rod. I ran some ugly laps Friday in my heat race but showed up and showed out come feature time and charged from 19th to 5th. Came up one spot short of locking into championship night Saturday. Night two I was 2nd high point guy after my heat race and started 6th in my feature. They tilled the track right before my feature which pretty much turned it into a one lane track with no passing. Disappointing but needed to give myself a better shot by driving better on night one. Every lap matters!

Happy Birthday to my dad, Kory Ballard and my crew chief, Billy Lawhead. Wish I could have pulled it off for you guys!

Still struggling to find speed. My team is working hard on my engine package and we are hoping for a stronger showing this weekend. Still salvaged a 7th place finish against a staked field of competitors. Just a bump in the road as I know I’ll be back up front soon!
